Today following the news that Supreme Court Justice Antonin Scalia passed away at the age of 79, Congressman Michael McCaul (R-TX) released the following statement:

McCaul: "Today our country has suffered a great loss. Justice Scalia was a champion of our constitution and a protector of liberty. His approach to the rule of law and his time on the bench are exactly what the founding fathers envisioned. Justice Scalia's impact will be missed by the judicial community and his love for our nation and our constitution will be missed by all Americans."
