"Former Speaker Boehner served with dignity and integrity, despite the myriad of pressures and challenges he experienced during his tenure. I wish him all the best in his future endeavors.

"Speaker Ryan is an outstanding public servant with a long record of service. He has the potential to be an effective leader that works with the whole House to move our great nation forward. I look forward to continuing to work with him in the House of Representatives."
