.S. Congressman Marlin Stutzman issued the following statement after yesterday's passage of S. 1356, the National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA) for Fiscal Year 2016, by a 370-58 vote.

"Despite President Obama's insistence on playing politics with our nation's defense bill, I remain proud of the NDAA my colleagues and I in Congress worked hard to craft which provides our men and women in uniform with the critical resources they need to defend our homeland and address emerging global challenges abroad," said Stutzman. "It is time for the Commander-in-Chief to demonstrate real leadership and he should start by signing this bill."
