Cutting current programs and taxes must be completed in a systematic way. Results Based Government achieves these principals. Implementation of RBG offers a systematic way of cutting programs that are not producing results. (Simply put, this is private sector management modified for government management.) Note; The Reinventers Field Book; Tools for Transforming your Government, by David Osborne and Peter Plastrik, should be the States handbook. Several states are currently using this form of management and having great results.
