Duckworth Announces Over $1.2 Million For the Greater Elgin Family Care Center

Congresswoman Tammy Duckworth (IL-08) today announced $1,215,161 in federal funding for the Greater Elgin Family Care Center in Elgin. Today's funding comes through the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services' (HHS) Health Center Cluster grant program, which provides resources to help providers better meet needs of low-income and underserved communities.

"The Greater Elgin Family Care Center provides critical health services to families in the Eighth District and this infusion of federal funds will help ensure they can continue meeting the needs of our community," said Congresswoman Duckworth.

The Greater Elgin Family Care Center provides patient centered comprehensive medical care to communities and low-income families in Northeastern Illinois. The center has both medical and dental care services and providers ranging from OB/GYNs to Behavioral Health specialists
