Wittman: We Stand With Brussels

Statement

Congressman Rob Wittman (VA-1) released the following statement in response to yesterday's coordinated terrorist attacks in Belgium:

"Atrocities like those in Brussels have become too commonplace. ISIS is hitting harder and closer to home with each act of terror. Their goal is to create chaos in the name of jihad. Democracy demands that we fight against that.

"As we always have, we must stand with our allies against fear. I've repeatedly urged the Administration to develop and resource a cogent strategy to eliminate ISIS. Every taking of a human life in the name of terror should serve as a call to action. It is time for us to get serious about rooting out and destroying ISIS.

"The time for us to act is NOW."
