U.S. Congressman Pete Sessions (R-TX-32), Chairman of the House Rules Committee and a Member of House Republican Leadership, today released the following statement regarding the November jobs report:
"While today's jobs report brings welcome news, I believe that there is still more work to be done to get our economy back on track. For the past six years this Administration's liberal agenda has strangled the American economy and millions of Americans have lost hope and dropped out of the labor force because of it. The number of people who are actively looking for work is the lowest it has been in the last four decades. This needs to change.
"House Republicans understand what it takes to get Americans back to work and reinvigorate our economy. I will continue to work with my colleagues to fight against the President's disastrous liberal policies, implement conservative solutions to give the American people the robust job opportunities that they deserve, and put our country back on the path to American exceptionalism."
