Turner reacts to POTUS FY 2017 Budget Proposal

Congressman Turner, Chairman of the House Armed Services Subcommittee on Tactical Air and Land Forces, issued the following statement on President Obama's FY2017 budget proposal:

"The Administration blatantly ignored the terms of the Bipartisan Budget Act of 2015, further jeopardizing our national security and depleting the resources necessary to maintain our military. I continue to urge Members to remain committed to providing a robust national defense and advocate on behalf of our men and women in uniform as we prepare to consider a budget resolution for FY 2017 in the House."
