Brad Schneider: GOP Continues to Railroad Planned Parenthood at Expense of Women's Health

Today, Democrat Brad Schneider called on Republicans in Congress to cease their unrelenting political attacks on Planned Parenthood. Republican Rep. Bob Dold voted to defund Planned Parenthood in 20111 and now his Republican colleagues are seizing on a video hoax by a right-wing group to further their attempts to defund this critically important health care provider.

"Republican Bob Dold already has a demonstrated record of voting to defund Planned Parenthood," said Brad Schneider. "Now his Republican colleagues are continuing their dangerous attacks that undermine the core of women's reproductive health. All women should have the freedom to make their own choices about their bodies without interference from Congress, and Planned Parenthood should be applauded for the wide range of necessary health services they provide to women and men."
