Date: Oct. 23, 2015
Location: Washington, DC

Today, with Congressman David Rouzer's support, the House of Representatives passed H.R. 3762 -- Restoring Americans' Healthcare Freedom Reconciliation Act of 2015 to repeal major provisions of Obamacare and defund Planned Parenthood for one year while redirecting funds to community health centers. According to the nonpartisan Congressional Budget Office (CBO), this bill will reduce the deficit by $129.8 billion over the next 10 years.

"For the past five years, we have all been forced to cope with the consequences of Obamacare - including increased healthcare costs, fewer coverage options and job losses. This bill is a great step in the right direction to repeal some of the worst aspects of Obamacare, while also protecting life, investing in women's healthcare and reducing our deficit by more than $129 billion."
