I campaigned on finding common sense solutions to problems. The bi-partisan Resilient Federal Forests Act, which I introduced on Thursday (June 4), is one way I am doing just that. H.R. 2647, with co-sponsors on both sides of the aisle, aims to reduce wildfire risks by getting the government and special interests out of the way in order to protect our national forests and the public with proper forest management techniques.
