Senator Tom Cotton (R-Arkansas) today released the following statement on North Korea's illicit rocket launch:

"Belligerence must be met with costs. That means new sanctions, new missile defenses, and a clear stand with our allies in Asia. A tinpot dictator who takes food out of the mouths of his people to pay for nuclear weapons will continue to press ahead unless he is stopped."
