Boozman Hails Passage of Resolution to Stop WOTUS

U.S. Senator John Boozman (R-AR) today spoke on the Senate floor to hail passage of a resolution that would stop implementation of the Environmental Protection Agency's (EPA) flawed "waters of the United States" (WOTUS) rule.

"Arkansans understand we don't need DC bureaucrats controlling our land. That is why I stand with the homeowners, small businesses and family farmers in Arkansas in opposition to the WOTUS mandate. Passage of this resolution today reflects the American people's rejection of this heavy-handed mandate and shows our commitment to a balanced and thoughtful approach to water quality protection. Congress needs to send this resolution to the President. The President needs to understand the opposition this power-grab is facing is very real," Boozman said during his speech.
