Today, Thursday, December 17, 2015, the U.S. House of Representatives voted on a legislative package to help American taxpayers.

"By making these tax provisions permanent, we are providing certainty to Americans and simplifying the tax process. I believe Americans should get to keep more of their hard-earned dollars, and that is exactly what this bill does," stated Congressman Valadao. "Since coming to Congress, I have supported legislation to ensure tax deductions for teachers who use their own money for classroom expenses, a provision included in the package today. These are common sense reforms." He continued, "The package passed in the House today is just the beginning. The PATH Act is the first step in overhauling our entire tax code."
