Today, Tuesday, September 22, 2015, the United States Department of Agriculture (USDA) began the first stage of their federal Hearing on Proposals for a California Federal Milk Marketing Order in Clovis, California.

"After hearing from dairy producers throughout the Central Valley, it became clear that there was a role for the federal government to play in this process," said Congressman Valadao. "Ultimately, my legislation allowed for this open and transparent process, which will enable California dairymen to have the final say regarding their own pricing system."
