Congressman Ami Bera, M.D. made the following statement in response to President Obama's 2016 State of the Union address.

"The President shared a message of working together tonight. We may have our differences, but we need to set broad goals and work together to accomplish big things for the good of our country. We must work together to strengthen and grow our economy so that hardworking Americans can get ahead. And we need to work together to ensure our country is safe. I am optimistic about our country's future and we must continue to work together to help advance America's goals."
