Congresswoman Matsui Announcement YouthBuild Grant for Sacramento Regional Conservation Corps

Congresswoman Doris Matsui today announced that the Sacramento Regional Conservation Corps (SRCC) has received a U.S. Department of Labor Employment and Training Administration YouthBuild grant. The $1,000,000 grant will allow SRCC, a nonprofit organization that provides training and jobs for young adults, to expand its programming to serve greater numbers of at-risk youth.

"For several decades, the Sacramento Regional Conservation Corps has been a positive force in Sacramento for both the youth it serves and the community at large," said Congresswoman Matsui. "I am thrilled that the SRCC can continue its great work, and that even more young Sacramentans will grow and develop with the help of this important federal grant."
