Congressman Steve Womack (AR-3) today released the following statement after President Obama issued a veto of the National Defense Authorization Act for Fiscal Year 2016:

"Holding our national security hostage for pet social programs is not only shortsighted but also a clear threat to our nation and our soldiers abroad. We cannot truly protect ourselves in an increasingly unstable world when we have a Commander in Chief who would put lives at risk for his own liberal agenda."
