U.S. Sen. Bernie Sanders issued the following statement Monday after a Texas grand jury cleared Planned Parenthood of any wrongdoing and indicted two anti-abortion activists in a case involving covert videos:

"The Texas grand jury decision undercuts the entire Republican attack on Planned Parenthood. Planned Parenthood is doing an excellent job and should be supported and expanded, not defunded."
