Governor Hassan's Statement on Historic Paris Agreement to Combat Climate Change

Governor Maggie Hassan issued the following statement on the historic Paris agreement to combat climate change:

"New Hampshire has long been a leader in efforts to cut carbon emissions and combat climate change, including signing on to the global Under 2 MOU agreement in October to protect the environment and to reduce harmful emissions that lead to climate change.

"Combating climate change is critical to our planet's future, and the historic international agreement reached in Paris builds on our efforts in New Hampshire. While this is an important step forward, we must continue working together to ensure a cleaner and healthier environment that will help our citizens, businesses and economy thrive."
