Gov. Scott: Naples Area Adds More Than 4,000 New Jobs Over the Year

Today, Governor Rick Scott announced the Naples area added 4,100 jobs over the year in November. The area's unemployment rate declined by 0.8 percentage point over the year to 4.7 percent in November. Florida businesses across the state have added more than 1 million private-sector jobs since December 2010.

Governor Scott said, "The Naples area added 4,100 new jobs over the year in November, which gives more Floridians the chance to find opportunities to succeed. With unemployment rates declining across the state and more than one million jobs created in just five years, Florida is on the way to becoming first for jobs."
