Cornyn Renews Call on President to Pursue Additional Military Options Against ISIS

Statement

U.S. Senator John Cornyn (R-TX) issued the following statement in response to President Obama's remarks regarding our fight against ISIS at the Pentagon today:

"The President again failed to acknowledge a harsh truth: his strategy against ISIS is simply not working, and we need to pursue additional military options in our fight against this terrorist army. While I am glad the President met with our military leaders, he needs to do more to give our armed services the resources and flexibility to accomplish their mission."

"Only with a dramatic change in strategy will our military be able to eliminate the threat posed by ISIS and keep the American people safe."
