Schumer on EPA Decision to Require Gas Additives
Sen. Chuck Schumer on EPA order on gas additives today:
"With gas prices already through the roof it is unconscionable for the EPA to play ethanol politics and keep gas prices 10 cents higher than they ought to be. There are many other ways to keep the air clean without using ethanol, but the EPA is more interested in political games than the costs to New York drivers. Clean air is very important but New York should be free to meet that standard in the way that makes the most sense and costs our drivers the least."
