Governor Hassan Issues Executive Order Directing Application of Time Worked Change

Governor Maggie Hassan issued an Executive Order directing a change in the application of time worked for unrepresented state employees to exclude unscheduled sick leave from overtime calculations. This application is consistent with the change for represented state employees included in the new state contract that was part of the fiscally responsible, bipartisan compromise on the budget.

"It is critical that we maintain fiscal responsibility while supporting our hard-working state employees, and this common-sense step will ensure that unrepresented and represented state employees are both subject to the same time-worked related policies," Governor Hassan said.
