Governor Hassan Hosts EU Ambassador David O'Sullivan

Governor Maggie Hassan hosted the Ambassador of the European Union to the United States, David O'Sullivan, at a meeting in the State House today, where the two discussed small business access and opportunity for New Hampshire businesses in European markets, the manufacturing industry, trade, and cyber security.

"New Hampshire's relationship with the European Union is critical to our economy, and our shared heritage is reflected in our culture, our diversity and our rich history," Governor Hassan said. "I was honored to host Ambassador O'Sullivan at the State House today to nurture this important relationship between the Granite State and Europe, where four of our top 10 international trading partners are located. Our continued collaboration is critical to increasing opportunities for New Hampshire small businesses in European markets, strengthening cyber security and boosting our manufacturing industry, and I look forward to continuing to work with Ambassador O'Sullivan and our partners in Europe on a mutually beneficial relationship that helps to keep New Hampshire's economy moving forward and to maintain the cultural heritage that is critical to our high quality of life."
