Chairman McCaul Statement on Airstrike Targeting Jihadi John

Homeland Security Committee Chairman McCaul made the following statement regarding the Defense Department's announcement that a November 12 airstrike targeted ISIS executioner Mohammad Emwazi, aka "Jihadi John," who murdered three Americans and several other hostages..

"We continue to show Islamist terrorists that their callous threats to our nation and harm against our people will not stand. In return for barbaric violence, we will deliver justice to our enemies. Other ISIS leaders should know this: you, too, will be found, and you will share their fate. But to defeat these radicals, it is time for the President to develop a strategy for victory in Syria and Iraq and to lay out a vision for winning the wider war against Islamist terror."
