Gov. Scott: Naples Area Adds More Than 3,000 New Jobs Over Year

Today, Governor Rick Scott announced the Naples area saw an increase of 3,900 jobs over the year in October. The Naples area's unemployment rate declined by 0.6 percentage point over the year to 5.2 percent in October. Florida businesses have added 978,800 private-sector jobs since December 2010.

Governor Scott said, "Businesses in Naples are growing jobs and helping us achieve our goal of being first for job creation. We will continue to cut taxes and diversify our economy, so families in Naples have the opportunities they need to get a great job."
