Governor Rick Scott, "Veterans Day is a time to thank the brave men and women who have sacrificed so much in defense of our freedom. Throughout America's history, veterans have answered the call to protect others and serve our county. As a Navy veteran myself, I am especially honored to celebrate Veterans Day with so many brave American heroes who served in the Vietnam War. Every American should take time today to show appreciation for those who have served."
