Today, Governor Rick Scott made the following statement regarding the two Floridians, James Creach and Lloyd "Carl" Fields Jr., who were shot and killed in a police training facility in Amman, Jordan yesterday.

Governor Rick Scott said, "We are heartbroken to hear of the deaths of two Floridians, James Creach and Lloyd "Carl" Fields Jr., who were both tragically shot and killed in Jordan yesterday while providing police training to increase safety in the region. Both men served as law enforcement officers and will be remembered for their service to protect others. Our thoughts and prayers are with their families during this difficult time of grief."
