Mr. JEFFRIES. Mr. Speaker, from the moment that House Republicans
came to power, the majority has failed to do its job. They have
consistently abdicated their responsibility to govern. They have
consistently taken the American people on reckless legislative joyrides
guaranteed to crash and burn. As former New York Knick Michael Ray
Richardson once famously observed as his team's season was headed in
the wrong direction, this ship be sinking.

Mr. Speaker, House Republicans need to end their obsession with the
Affordable Care Act, end their obsession with hurting immigrant
families, end their obsession with Planned Parenthood. It is time to
end sequestration, to fully fund the government, and get back to doing
the business of the American people.
