Congresswoman Dina Titus released the following statement today in response to the Fifth Circuit Court of Appeals injunction, which blocked a series of executive orders on immigration signed by President Obama:
"I am disappointed that the Fifth Circuit Court of Appeals denied this relief for millions of families across the country. It was nothing more than the continuation of a politically motivated lawsuit. I support President Obama's plan to file an appeal to the U.S. Supreme Court in an effort to correct a mistake that sets dangerous precedent. Failing to do so would continue to put innocent families and students at risk of deportation."
