New Cornyn Video: "Smart on Crime"

U.S. Senator John Cornyn (R-TX) released the following video after last week's passage of the Sentencing Reform and Corrections Act in the Senate Judiciary Committee, legislation that builds on successful criminal justice reforms in Texas:

"By targeting those who are most likely to re-offend and teaching them how to succeed in the real world, we can not only reduce the crime rate, as our experience has shown in Texas, but help people turn their lives around and save billions of dollars," Sen. Cornyn says in the video.
