U.S. Senator John Cornyn (R-TX) released the following statement after co-sponsoring two resolutions disapproving of the Environmental Protection Agency's (EPA) proposed regulations under President Obama's so-called "Clean' Power Plan:
"Giving the EPA greater authority to implement unnecessary regulations will not only strain job creators, but could raise prices for Texans at the pump, at the supermarket, and at home," Sen. Cornyn said. "This resolution is a clear bipartisan message to the President that it's time to stop catering to environmental activists and start prioritizing the needs of families and small businesses."
