Cornyn Statement on Designation of San Antonio's Missions as World Heritage Site

U.S. Sen. John Cornyn (R-TX) released the following statement ahead of today's ceremony designating San Antonio's five historic Missions as a United Nations Educational, Scientific, and Cultural Organization (UNESCO) World Heritage Site:

"The Alamo and Missions are tangible reminders of San Antonio's rich cultural heritage and serve as a reflection of who we are as Texans. As San Antonio's Missions join some of the most unique and cherished historical sites across the globe, I'm proud to share recognition of these landmarks and the Texas story with the entire world."
