House Democratic Whip Steny H. Hoyer (MD) released the following statement today after it was announced that a Trans-Pacific Partnership trade agreement has been reached:
"Today's announcement of a Trans-Pacific Partnership trade agreement marks the start of a domestic review process. Congress and the public will now have a 90-day period before this complex agreement is signed to review its details and seek clarification and improvements. I will be listening closely to the views of stakeholders and my colleagues as we evaluate the agreement."
