* We deserve affordable healthcare. Doreen understands how imperative it is that affordable, quality healthcare for all of Georgia's families becomes a reality. When families are healthy, our communities are stronger.

* We deserve more and greater opportunities. Doreen will use her experience working with businesses as President of the Greater Lithonia Chamber of Commerce to attract quality economic development and get DeKalb and Rockdale residents good jobs with living wages.

* We deserve to save our children. As a mother of 3, Doreen empathizes the importance of education - daily - but shares the concern of many of Georgia's families about the state's pending initiative to takeover our schools. Doreen believes we should invest more money into our schools, pay our teachers better, and properly implement quality curriculum.
