Congresswoman Chellie Pingree issued the following statement on the search for the El Faro, a cargo ship missing in the Bahamas.
"I've been briefed by the Coast Guard this afternoon, and I amconfident that with the help of the Air Force and Navy, they are doing everything they can to locate the El Faro. I know this is a very difficult time for the families of the crew and my thoughts are with them as they wait for news."
