Stutzman Statement on Pope Francis' Visit to the U.S.

U.S. Congressman Marlin Stutzman issued the following statement today regarding Pope Francis' address to the joint meeting of Congress.

"Since assuming leadership of the Catholic Church, Pope Francis has captured the hearts and minds of people across the world and across faiths. His unwavering focus and care for those in need is a reminder of the hope that we can all find in each other and the hope that we can find in Jesus Christ.

"I join the Diocese of Fort Wayne-South Bend and Catholics across Indiana in welcoming Pope Francis to the United States and wish him well as he continues to lead his people in the Catholic Church."
