Stutzman Votes to Protect Life and Block Taxpayer Support for Planned Parenthood

Statement

U.S. Congressman Marlin Stutzman issued the following statement today following the House passage of H.R. 3504 -- the Born-Alive Abortion Survivors Protection Act, of which he is a cosponsor, and H.R. 3134 -- the Defund Planned Parenthood Act, of which he is also a cosponsor.

"The actions and conversations displayed by Planned Parenthood officials on the recently released undercover videos are inhumane and abhorrent. The House of Representatives passed two simple bills today--one says that if you take a life, there should be consequences. The other one says taxpayers should not be funding organizations under investigation for taking the lives of innocent babies and selling their organs for profit.

"I remain wholly committed to protecting the lives of the unborn and will continue to fight for the sanctity of life, as well as access to quality, lawful health care services for all women, men, and children."
