Cornyn Encourages Texans to Participate in National Prescription Drug Take-Back Day

Today, U.S. Senator John Cornyn (R-TX) released the following statement in recognition of National Drug Take-Back Day, hosted nationwide by the Drug Enforcement Agency (DEA) tomorrow, September 26, 2015.
"In the wrong hands, prescription drugs can lead to debilitating addiction and ravage our communities," said Sen. Cornyn. "I encourage all Texans to proactively fight drug addiction across our state by returning unused prescriptions through National Prescription Drug Take-Back Day."
National Drug Take-Back Day is one of the efforts encouraged by the Secure and Responsible Drug Disposal Act, legislation passed by Sen. Cornyn and Sen. Amy Klobuchar (D-MN) in 2010.
