Congressman Marsha Blackburn (R-TN) today joined a bipartisan majority of her House colleagues in rejecting the Obama Administration's nuclear deal with Iran. Blackburn issued the following statement in opposition to the deal:
"This deal will have disastrous consequences for the security of our nation as well as our allies. The fact is, it's a terrible deal that will put in jeopardy the safety, security and stability of generations to come. For the sake of our children and grandchildren we can and must do better," Blackburn said. "This deal does nothing to prevent Iran from getting a nuclear weapon or building up their military. Iran simply cannot be trusted to be faithful to any agreement and that is why I am standing with the American people today in voting to stop it."
