Issue Position

Health care is an important right of every American and I have worked hard to protect funding for Medicare and Social Security, which have been contributed to by hard-working Americans throughout their lives. I have urged both my Democratic and Republican colleagues in Congress to responsibly address medical and retirement security in a manner that would improve access to Medicare services, affordable prescription drugs and correct flaws in Social Security.
