Governor Hassan's Statement on Tent Collapse in Lancaster

Statement

Governor Maggie Hassan issued the following statement after Robert A. Young, 41, and his daughter Annabelle, 8, of Concord, Vermont, were identified as the victims of the tent collapse yesterday in Lancaster:

"Our hearts remain heavy following the tragedy yesterday in Lancaster, and it is deeply saddening that a father and daughter lost their lives at what was meant to be a fun, family event. I have been in contact with Governor Shumlin to offer the full support of the Granite State to our neighbors to the west. I join all Granite Staters in sending our thoughts and prayers to the Young family, their loved ones and their community in Concord, Vermont, and we also continue to hope for a speedy recovery for all of those who were injured."
