Today, Governor Pete Ricketts issued the following statement in observance of Labor Day:

"Labor Day is a time to celebrate the great work ethic of the people of Nebraska. I know from personal experience that when you hire a Nebraskan you get someone with a great work ethic, who is well educated and will help a business succeed."

"Susanne, the kids, and I would also like to wish everyone a safe holiday weekend, and remind you to drive safely and buckle up if you have plans to travel in the coming days."
