Issue Position

In order to promote economic growth and prosperity, we need to overhaul and reform our current tax system. For decades, we have been using an outdated and confusing tax code. The American people are poorly served by this tax code, which is needlessly complex and full of loopholes. I believe that broadening the tax base and lowering individual rates will spur economic growth. We need a simpler, fairer, and more efficient tax system that promotes job growth and allows our economy to thrive.
