Congressman Steve Womack (AR-3) today released the following statement after House passage of H.R. 427, the Regulations from the Executive in Need of Scrutiny (REINS) Act:
"Businesses across the Third District and all over the country are being strangled by endless regulations. Instead of growing their companies -- and our economy -- they are having to use their resources to comply with never-ending government mandates. But tomorrow's good-paying jobs don't come from Washington bureaucrats, and for the sake of our small businesses and job creators, we must rein it in. I am proud to cosponsor and vote for this essential legislation."
