Van Hollen Announces Over $1.5 Million for Community Health Centers in Silver Spring and Bethesda

Today Maryland Congressman Chris Van Hollen announced that community health centers in Silver Spring and Bethesda will receive over $1.5 million in federal funding for the delivery of comprehensive primary health care services, part of over $2.7 million in grants announced today to serve 21,000 new patients in Maryland.

"Community health centers are transforming health care in Maryland and across the country," said Congressman Van Hollen. "This funding will improve access to care for those who need it the most, improving the health of Maryland's families while also providing them greater economic security."
