U.S. Senator Kelly Ayotte (R-N.H.) today released the following statement on leadership changes announced this week by the New Hampshire National Guard:

"I want to congratulate General Carolyn Protzmann on her decades of distinguished service to our country and our state, including her service as Assistant Adjutant General and Commander of the New Hampshire Air National Guard. General Protzmann's strong leadership and tireless efforts were instrumental in the Air Force's selection of Pease's 157th Air Refueling Wing as the first Air National Guard unit in the nation to receive the KC-46A-the next generation air refueling tanker. She led by example and implemented many important programs to support New Hampshire's service members and veterans. I wish General Protzmann the very best in her well-earned retirement.

"Brigadier General Paul Hutchinson is a talented and experienced leader, and I congratulate him on becoming the Commander of the New Hampshire Air National Guard. I look forward to working with him to ensure that the New Hampshire Air National Guard has all the resources and support it needs to continue to perform critical missions for our state and nation."
