Statement

Dear friends,

It is because of you that millions of people now know about the disturbing allegations that surfaced about Planned Parenthood last week. Citizen journalists recorded the video, you shared it, talked about it, and made sure Congress knew about it as well. Your actions spoke so loudly, not even the mainstream media could ignore this story.

By the time the cameras were turned off, Speaker Boehner and the Chairmen of the relevant committees had already committed to holding hearings and launching an investigation. You did that. 126 of us sent this letter to them to thank them for their swift call to action, I cannot thank you enough for your efforts as well.

However, we still need you.

They are lawyered-up and lobbied-up; they are connected to some of the most high powered people in D.C. who are all working overtime right now to wipe this issue from the front pages and silence those of us who are trying to offer a voice to these innocent, voiceless babies. We cannot let that happen. Please continue to be that voice; I will continue to do all I can as your Representative to ensure those responsible are held accountable, and ultimately, when these atrocities are verified, Planned Parenthood should not receive one dime of your taxpayer dollars.
