| My priority is to reduce and eliminate fossil fuel carbon emissions. Transportation fuel will move from petroleum to electric and hydrogen over the next 20 years. The electric utilities can and will move to renewable non-polluting energy resources to comply with the Oregon Climate Action Plan. However, the natural gas (methane) utilities can only comply by going out of business. The state needs to acquire the three natural gas (methane) vendors in Oregon and systematically prune services while protecting consumers by assissting conversion to efficient, cost effective electric water and space heating and cooking technologies. |
